LS50FHa — 50mm Front-Mount H-Alpha Solar Filter A 0.35Å tilt-tuned etalon for two purposes: double-stack upgrade for the Lunt LS60MT, or standalone H-alpha filter for compatible customer refractors.

The LS50FHa is a 50mm aperture front-mounted tilt-tuned H-alpha filter with a verified bandpass of 0.35Å. It serves two distinct purposes — as a double-stack etalon for the Lunt LS60MT Modular Telescope, or as a standalone H-alpha solar filter for a customer-supplied compatible refractor.

As a double-stack filter for the LS60MT: The LS50FHa mounts to the front of the LS60MT in night configuration, placing its 0.35Å tilt-tuned etalon in series with the LS60MT's internal 0.45Å pressure-tuned etalon. Combined system bandpass: <0.28Å. No factory visit required. The filter is easily removed for night-sky use.

As a standalone H-alpha filter for customer refractors: The LS50FHa retrofits a compatible customer-supplied ED refractor for daytime solar observation and is easily removed for night use. A Lunt blocking filter must be used at all times — this is a safety requirement. Select the correct blocking filter for your telescope and intended use:

• B600 — visual use on telescopes up to 540mm focal length
• B1200 — visual use up to 1,080mm / imaging up to 540mm focal length
• B1800 — visual use up to 1,620mm / imaging up to 1,080mm focal length
