The LS40THa Complete Kit puts hydrogen-alpha solar observing within reach. At just 2.6 pounds with a 400mm f/10 optical system, this is Lunt's most portable dedicated solar telescope: a true grab-and-go instrument that delivers the chromospheric detail, prominences, and filaments that make H-alpha observing so rewarding.

Every component has been selected to provide a complete, ready-to-observe experience straight from the case. The front-mounted tilt-tuned etalon delivers <0.65Å bandpass with full, unobstructed aperture: no central obstruction compromising your views. The SunLock red dot finder gets you on-target in seconds. The 12mm flat-field eyepiece, coated with the same 0.1% AR coatings we use on our etalons, provides 33x magnification for detailed views of active regions and prominences.
