ISO 12312-2:2015 certified eclipse glasses from Lunt Solar Systems, the solar telescope maker in Tucson, Arizona. Manufactured in Germany and approved by the American Astronomical Society, they are ready for the 2027 and 2028 solar eclipses.

Certified safe for direct solar viewing

• Certified to ISO 12312-2:2015, the international standard for filters used to look directly at the sun. Certifying body: ECS GmbH.
• Approved by the American Astronomical Society. Lunt Solar Systems is listed as an approved supplier at eclipse.aas.org.
• Filters out 100% of harmful ultraviolet and infrared light and 99.999% of intense visible light, for a sharp, orange image of the sun.
• CE marked. Meets the transmission requirements of scale 12 to 16 of EN 169/1992.
• Heavy card stock frame that fits most teens and adults.

• Before each use, check the front and back of each lens for scratches, pinholes or separation from the frame. If damaged, cut into small pieces and discard.
• Wear your eclipse glasses any time you look directly at the sun or its reflection. During a solar eclipse, wear them whenever any part of the sun is visible.
• Do not use with cameras, telescopes, binoculars or any other optical device.
• Do not attempt to clean or disinfect the filters.
• This product is not a toy. Children should use it only with adult supervision.

Warning: Never look at the sun without special eye protection. Do not use if damaged. Using damaged eclipse glasses can result in severe eye injury.

Shelf life

Suitable for use for 3 years from first use when stored flat in a clean, dry environment. Unopened stock has an essentially indefinite shelf life when stored correctly.
