DSII/LS152T Internal Double Stack Module
Double stacking provides a truly enhanced, high definition view of the Sun’s surface details. It lowers the bandpass of the system from <0.7 Angstroms to <0.5 Angstroms. This will significantly make the surface features on the Sun “pop”! The Lunt LS152THa can be internally double-stacked at the time of purchase or anytime thereafter. The LS152THa does not need to be returned to the factory for double-stacking.
You can purchase the LS152THa single stack solar telescope. Subsequently, add the DSII internal double stack module to make it a double stack unit later. This will make it more affordable to purchase our best solar telescope and still have room for upgrades. Once you upgrade your Lunt LS152THa with the DSII LS152T internal double stack module, you will be able to see the finer details on the Sun that were not previously visible.

Lunt LS152THa Solar Telescope -When I discussed buying a second etalon (DSII) for my Lunt 152, I thought that the views could not be that much more intoxicating than the less than.65 Angstrom views of the single stack version. I could not have been more wrong. In fact, since getting the DSII, I have only used the scope in the single etalon mode x1 and will likely very rarely ever use it in that configuration. The double-stack 152 is sooooo much fun that I view our closest star as often as time and weather will permit. I loved my double -stack 60, liked my double stacked 80, but adore my double-stacked 152. Highly recommended. – Bob 5 stars
