Thank you so much for being so great and sending the zoom eyepiece, what a great piece of equipment we have. Many thanks for bringing joy to our camp 🙂 it’s really awesome to finally be able to use the telescope for visual observing

I now have two of these, and they work great for the sun. You can get a bigger field of view with non-zoom eyepieces, but for anything up to the Lunt LS80 (the biggest telescope I have tried), you don’t really fill up the field of view anyway. To my untrained eye, I also can’t tell the difference between the optical quality of this eyepiece and other standard non-zoom eyepieces.

I am very impressed with this eyepiece. I guess I was expecting it to not perform as well as non zoom eyepieces. Honestly I can’t tell the difference. Overall it is well matched for my LS50 scope. It is well made and performs at a very high level, good sharpness and contrast.
