APM – LZOS Apo 152 / 1200
The APM 152mm, 1200mm Focal Length APO Telescope has been redesigned to be lighter and more compact than previous iterations. As such, it is truly a completely portable high end APO refractor that can be used at home with medium size portable and relatively inexpensive mounts.
Its optical quality, color correction, and performance are unrivaled in this size; The telescope can be enjoyed visually using any binoviewer or diagonal combination of your choice, without the need of a barlow or corrector, and photographically with APM’s matched field flattener/reducer that covers full format CCD chips and Film Cameras up to 6×7 cm size with pinpoint stars across the entirety of the field of view.
The Tube itself is made in Germany with non-compromising mechanical quality, and includes a retractable dew cap that slides smoothly over the tube without producing scratches in the paint. The Telescope comes with a Starlight 3.5″ Focuser with bracket attached for a 50mm viewfinder, both of which can be rotated 360° smoothly and without image shifting.
