I took this image on November 13, 2011 with an LS35THa. More details below:
- taken around 12:20 local time in Budapest, Hungary
- Lunt LS35THa (single stacked, basic model) was mounted on a SW HEQ5 Pro
- camera used was a DMK41au02.as
- I took 6000 frames for the disc (1200 selected) with 1/1200s exposure time and 2000 frames (400 selected) with 1/40s for prominences
- processing was done in Avistack2 and Gimp.
It is amazing how much detail this fine little scope can reveal! Enjoy!
Images were created with the Lunt LS35T and a DMK41 monochrome camera. Full disc images were shot in prime focus while the protuberance was imaged using an Orion Shorty 2x barlow.
