Well Arizona Solar Conference/ALCon 2010 has come and gone, we thank everyone who came out and joined us under the sun! It was truly a great time and we hope to see you all again!
During the event we raffled off hats, shirts, and a brand new LS60THa/B600CPT with Sol Searcher and Zoom Eyepiece; this is one of our most popular scope packages!! The lucky winner of this scope was Gil Bartee! Congratulations Gil, we hope you enjoy it!

We were able to get a spacer to make the very last LS75F/B1200. Although this will be the last Unobstructed 75 produced for quite a while, we do have a very interesting, and sure to be on many want lists, system coming up in the next couple of weeks. You will find more info listed here as soon as it becomes available.
LS75F/B1200 Unobstructed
This is the very last LS75F Unobstructed to be produced at this time.
The Filter is in New and Excellent condition.
When ordering, please let us know the altitude at which you intend to use the Filter. Although the Filter has a wide range of tunability, we want to ensure that it is optimized for your use.
ie: If you intend to use at 9,000ft, it will need to be tuned slightly higher.

Savio was kind enough to send in an image taken thru one of the special edition single stack LS75F’s.
The image was taken via one of David Leong’s 15 year old students, and although the filter had only just arrived, the initial shots are very good. I am looking forward to seeing just how good these images will get after a little practice with the filter.
The image was taken the the Lunt 75F mounted on a TMB 80-480 with 2X Barlow, and a DMK21AU04.AS
Unfortunately we sold out of these special edition 75s. There has been many queries for doublestacking the several we sold, and from people who have recently heard about the filters and were looking for availability.
Lunt Solar will be offering limited edition filters throughout the year. These filters will be announced in the upcoming community area of the website (coming next week). Our next special will certainly be a popular one. But, once their gone, their are gone.. At this time there are no plans to release the LS75F Un-obstructed as a standard product and we are not accepting orders for future limited runs ;)
I will be updating the status on the much anticipated LS152T later this week.
